Leave behind the hassle of clamps that slide around and fall off when they aren’t fastened down, and are a royal pain to compress and get a bolt through both ends. And you can forget about needing to buy a dozen different sizes of clamps to fit every possible thickness of wiring and hoses you need to route on your chassis, engine bay, etc.
These anchors are designed to work with a massive range of diameters of wiring, hose, etc. by utilizing a zip tie instead of a size-specific clamp. No sizes to worry about. Simple, right? The zip tie goes through the anchor and around the wiring harness, hose, or tube that needs to be secured in place, holding it to the anchor securely. And then the anchor can be fastened to any bolt or stud on your engine or chassis.
The anchors are made from carbon fiber reinforced nylon to provide a super strong, lightweight, and secure interface between the zip tie and any bolt or stud on your engine or chassis. This material can handle over 350 degrees F, so it’s perfectly at home in engine bays.
Once the anchor is installed and the zip tie is fastened, if you need to detach the harness, hose or tube, just remove the bolt and the anchor comes off with the harness. Then, when you go to reinstall it, because the zip tie is still tightened firmly to the harness, the anchor is exactly where you left it and oriented perfectly to be fastened back down. Very unlike other clamps that slide away and fall off once they’re unbolted because they have no tension on them.
The zip ties we include aren’t you common garden variety stuff either. These are high quality motorsport grade nylon cable ties with a metal tang for very fine adjustment a super secure hold. They’re rated up to 200 degrees F.
