Track Day Fever: Powertune R34 GTR @ Sydney Motorsports Park

Track Day Fever:

At Singulär Motorsports, we have a passion for all things motorsports related. Track Day Fever is a series which highlights one simple thing: cars at the track. Turn up your speakers, and enjoy the sights and sounds from race tracks around the world.

The Car:

This time we’re focusing on the Powertune R34 GT-R driven by Steve Ka and John Boston in World Time Attack. The Powertune R34 GT-R features a 2.8L Tomei built power plant producing 550AWHP through a Holinger sequential transmission. In 2013, this car was able to hit ~165MPH at the end of the front straight of Sydney Motorsports Park!

The Track:

Sydney Motorsports Park is located in Eastern Creek, New South Wales, Australia and features 11 turns over 2.8 miles. This track is unique as it is the only permanent track in Australia to hold a FIA Grade 2 International License for both cars and motorcycles.
